Day 181 of Project 2015

Here we are… in the middle of the year! Smack bang… in the middle! It means a lot of things…

– Financial year is over which means we do our taxes and we hopefully will get money back because we were away for half of last year.

– Winter is one month down

– We are on the home stretch for 2015

We wonder what the second half of the year holds for us… because with living day by day with the occasional planning forward, somehow… this first half of the year really has not flown by!!

Summary of June 30

Newbies

One of Le’s best friends have moved back to Sydney and she spontaneously caught up with her last night. We very rarely agree to do something so last minute -and it felt very liberating!

Brighter/Different Perspective?

Half year reflection – we are halfway in this project and we are so pleased that we not only are sticking with it but are also feeling the benefits of looking at life through different eyes… still our own eyes but choosing to take control rather than feel like we are getting swept along with the current.

It’s a BIG commitment blogging about one thing every day – and especially three different takes on it. I’m so impressed you’ve stuck with it.

And I always enjoy reading them even if I don’t jump in and comment all that often 🙂

    • Thanks Melinda! We are doing it to be more mindful and thankful of our everyday! We don’t stop to absorb what really happened that day. Although we are not entirely vigilant publishing every day, we know what we want to say every day 🙂
Thank you so much for reading or even taking the time to think of us!
