Day 333 of Project 2015

We had a BBQ today with the family for one of the munchkins 1st Birthday. His birthday kind of goes on for a whole week almost… with celebrating every which way for him.

Plenty of food with a spit roast, salads, spring rolls and fried wonton. Leftovers for the rest of the week maybe??

Afterwards we did a brief grocery shop for the week ahead. Summer is the BEST with all the summer fruits – so colourful and so plentiful.

Summary for November 29

Newbies

Due to the nature of the BBQ lunch, we ended up having only a fruit salad for dinner.

Brighter/Different Perspective?

And so we almost say farewell to November. One more month left of the year….

Day 332 of Project 2015

Amazing how our minds get programmed to thinking a certain way…. particularly around “routines”

Saturday nights are usually family dinner nights with Le’s family but due to other events occurring tomorrow, we went to David’s parents’ tonight instead. We usually see them on Sundays. Now seeing them on a Saturday threw us off a little, making us think that we were on a Sunday. It felt like we were sitting around on a Sunday evening… knowing that we needed to head home for a working week ahead.

But wait NO, the reality was that we were only on Saturday which meant we still had a whole weekend day still ahead of us…. YIPPEE!!

Summary for November 28

Newbies

Having family dinner with David’s family on a Saturday night except a Sunday.

Brighter/Different Perspective?

Due to a change in work roster and a loss in the cricket, we were ale to spend more time together. Couldn’t ask for anything better than that!

Day 331 of Project 2015

We got home late last night. David got tickets to the School Spectacular 2015. It was quite a production and plenty of teenager talent amongst the schools.

There was dancing and singing and acrobatics.

We’ve never been to a ballet before but after watching one of the talented students perform, it made us actually feel like we could go watch one day maybe…. maybe!

We caught the train in and back… little did we know that the performance finished after 11pm. Which meant we weren’t in bed til after midnight.

Summary of November 27

Newbies

We watched School Spectacular – we didn’t even know something like this existed.

Brighter/Different Perspective?

Never say never.  We never thought we would enjoy ballet… but maybe we will one day. Everything is possible when we ultimately have the final decision.

Day 330 of Project 2015

As we type each day… what day it is. It feels so surreal that 365 is in reach now.

Today was another stifling hot day in in Sydney… but we coped better than when it was 40-something.

Interestingly enough, we had another friend mention about a clairvoyant experience. That’s twice in two days. Coincidence?? It’s a little difficult when we don’t believe in coincidences.

And interestingly as well… the word narcissistic came up twice in two days. It’s not a word that we would commonly come across but we have heard it used twice in the past 2 days. Fortunately not to describe us of course.

Anyway… YAY for Friday tomorrow! The days are just rolling on.

Summary for November 26

Newbies

We woke up early and did some Qi Gong . It was a good start to the morning. Channelling the energy the right way!

Brighter/Different Perspective?

We must remember one of our key lessons from the Camino. That we needed opposites to appreciate things. We have hot to appreciate the cold and vice versa.

Day 329 of Project 2015

Another day passing us by… Another day older… Another day wiser… Another day of doing routine things.

How do we get like this?

No idea what to have for dinner. Waking up late. Yet still showering, going to work, getting changed, not necessarily in that order either.. but maybe it would be interesting if we did do it in this jumbled order.

Mundane vs routine? Is there a difference? Yes… one is bland and boring and the other is the same pattern of behaviour. At least that is our definition of it. So although we do the same thing over and over again, it may not necessarily be boring… WHY?! Because it all comes down to HOW you look at it.

So although another day passed. It was another day of being alive and realising how lucky we are for having the lives that we have.

Hearing and seeing what other people go through… it doesn’t seem fair but in the same opportunity we are grateful for our blessings and for having each other.

Spoke to a friend today who went to see a psychic. The craziest thing is that we (David and Le) are each currently reading a book about psychic and spirituality. Anyway, the friend said the psychic was able to give her so much information that was accurate. It was a total spinout… that type of stuff fascinates us a lot.

Summary for November 25

Newbies

Consciously making the effort to NOT eat out. We had no dinner at home but opted to walk up the roam to find ingredients to come home and cook for ourselves instead.

Brighter/Different Perspective?

We have read a lot recently about paying attention to signs being sent to us. We have been focusing on capturing anything we notice that is repeated in our journals  We love solving a good mystery/puzzle so we will be seeing if we can find the link in the signs that are being shown to us. What does it all mean?!
