Day 329 of Project 2015

Another day passing us by… Another day older… Another day wiser… Another day of doing routine things.

How do we get like this?

No idea what to have for dinner. Waking up late. Yet still showering, going to work, getting changed, not necessarily in that order either.. but maybe it would be interesting if we did do it in this jumbled order.

Mundane vs routine? Is there a difference? Yes… one is bland and boring and the other is the same pattern of behaviour. At least that is our definition of it. So although we do the same thing over and over again, it may not necessarily be boring… WHY?! Because it all comes down to HOW you look at it.

So although another day passed. It was another day of being alive and realising how lucky we are for having the lives that we have.

Hearing and seeing what other people go through… it doesn’t seem fair but in the same opportunity we are grateful for our blessings and for having each other.

Spoke to a friend today who went to see a psychic. The craziest thing is that we (David and Le) are each currently reading a book about psychic and spirituality. Anyway, the friend said the psychic was able to give her so much information that was accurate. It was a total spinout… that type of stuff fascinates us a lot.

Summary for November 25

Newbies

Consciously making the effort to NOT eat out. We had no dinner at home but opted to walk up the roam to find ingredients to come home and cook for ourselves instead.

Brighter/Different Perspective?

We have read a lot recently about paying attention to signs being sent to us. We have been focusing on capturing anything we notice that is repeated in our journals  We love solving a good mystery/puzzle so we will be seeing if we can find the link in the signs that are being shown to us. What does it all mean?!

Gosh, that was a deep and meaningful day!!

I read a quote this week by Ralph Waldo Emerson – “What is you woke up today with only the things you thanked God for yesterday?”

I normally consider myself a grateful person but that quote made me realise how much I take for granted!

    What books are you reading?

    • Ahhh…. Melinda that is a very good quote. Isn’t a scary thought? We would probably not end up with much…. except the priorities of yesterday.

Le just finished a book called Sensing Spirit by Mitchell Coombes and David is reading about angel healing.

Trying to regather and regroup and refocus because life gets so busy… we sometimes feel like we are losing our way.

Well you’ve got a lot happening with the new business – and a holiday to plan!

Have you read The Alchemist by Paul Coelho? I thought I read it many years ago but didn’t like it. It keeps popping up my radar so I’ll have to give it another go.

    • Interesting you say that about The Alchemist.
We both have read it. David liked it. Le read it part way initially – didn’t really like it. And then gave it a go only recently in the format of a graphic novel … Made the read easier.
The book has some interesting take home messages. Consider reading the graphic novel as a change. You might like it this time!
