It’s is the first day of the second last month of the year, the last month of Spring and looking out the window right about now, would tell us a different story.
It’s raining… really really really heavily!
We woke up at 3am to watched the Rugby World Cup… and stayed up for 2 hours to watch the Aussies lose. It wasn’t painful to watch as the game was exciting but NZ were easily the better team.
Then it was straight to bed again until 9.30 to get up and get ready for the Christening. We were to be godparents again. It was a lovely ceremony and then it was lunch… The lunch that was…. the food went on and on and on and on…. It was crazy! We were sooooo stuffed! We couldn’t even eat the mains.
Afterwards, it was home to change into comfortable clothes to head over to David’s parents place to catch up… for dinner. We had to request to push dinner back because we were so full!
Now home and ready for bed… and really looking forward to the final 60 days of the year. Time to make the most of what we have left of 2015 before we tackle 2016!
Summary for November 1
Waking up before the sun has come up to watch TV only to go back to bed before the sun came up.
We really liked the “little” extra sleep we stole between 5 and 9 am. There was something refreshing and fun about doing it that way.
