Day 203 of Project 2015

We had delicious Indian tonight – traditional “original” butter chicken. So not the bright orange, sweet butter chicken, but the curry in which the butter chicken we know was inspired.

We also went to the restaurant and let the waitress order one of our dishes. We left the decision to her and she chose well – onion dosa which is something we likely would not have ordered for ourselves.

It is also one (of the 5) of Le’s godchildren’s birthday – he is in Perth and we received a beautiful thank you message from him for his birthday present today. A video recording of him and his sister thanking us for their gifts and telling us they loved us…. Awww…. made our hearts melt! Kids are so adorable!

Summary of July 22

We left our dinner choice up to the waitress at the restaurant.

Brighter/Different Perspective?

Taking the decision power out of our hands can be a daunting step but at the same time, it can be so refreshing to be exposed to something completely different and new!

    Kids can be so cute!!

Next time I have curry I’ll look out for the onion dosa. I’ve not heard of it before.

I used to tell the guy in my coffee shop ‘Surprise me’ and got all sorts of good coffee blends and added flavourings – until the day he gave me a chai latté. Then I felt it was time to lay down some guidelines – like it actually had to contain coffee.
