To be happy… many people say it often but how many people grab it head on to make it happen!
We live in this “rat race” of life where we search for the meaning of life, our purpose in life and for happiness. But where are we searching? In full-time work? In our mortgages?
Are we expecting the meaning of life to be something ground-breaking? Or would we expect that the purpose of our life needs to be something profound? Or that happiness can be found?
But what if the meaning of life was just to appreciate what we were given and be grateful? What if the purpose of our life was to come into the lives of those we meet and be the person they needed to befriend or just talk to or just listen to them? What if happiness can’t be found but is already there and we choose not to see it?
There is no need to expect too much in life. We don’t know why we are here… but maybe we are already doing what we are meant to.
Let’s peel back the layers and just accept and stop searching!
Summary of June 15
We know we are lucky to have one another. And sometimes we need to just stop and acknowledge how blessed we are to have the relationship that we have. One that is open and loving. We can tell each other everything and truly be ourselves!
