(published LATE thanks to no internet connection or even phone reception for the past 2 days)
We had to leave EARLY this morning because we were driving over 600 km.
We sat in freeway traffic for about an hour across the city which was to be expected and therefore spent most of the rest of the day in the car trying to push through to get to our final destination before 6pm (as that is when reception closes).
We’re exhausted but fortunately where we stayed is not only quaint and delightful but we are right on the beach. AND we have kangaroos hopping all around the cabins.
It was a great way to finish such a LONG day on the road.
Summary of April 14
Newbies
We slept on the floor together on a roll out bed, instead of sleeping on bunk beds in our room.
Brighter/Different Perspective?
We are two peas in a pod and we prefer to sleep together in the same bed – even IF it’s a single bed. People might call that MAD or WEIRD but we see think it’s our little way of sticking together whenever we can. We hate being apart.
