Happy Chinese New Year!
Kung Hei Fat Choy!
Chuc Mung Nam Moi!
Doesn’t matter how you say it – it means the same thing 🙂 And carries the same connotations. We wish each other good health, much happiness and prosperity. Everything is decked out in red. We eat a whole lot and spend lots of time with the family. All married persons gift the unmarried ones little red envelopes/pockets/packets with some money.
And we eat some more.
Here to a fantastic Year of the Goat/Sheep for us and to everyone in this world!
Summary of February 19
Newbies
We had dumplings today for lunch… the good ole frozen ones and instead of zapping them in the microwave, we steamed them. Actually, we have been decreasing our use of the microwave quite a lot. We haven’t used it in weeks in fact. Maybe the microwave and all of its radiation glory was zapping some of the positive energy around us.
Brighter/Different Perspective?
We got new intercom systems in our place. YAY! So after tomorrow’s finishing touches by the locksmiths, we will have a much more secure unit block 🙂 It was a long time coming, but with perseverance, we got there 🙂
