It’s been one of those days…. where everyone has been so nice to us.
We crossed the streets several times today (not at traffic lights or at pedestrian crossings as we’ve been on smaller streets) and cars have stopped to let us cross.
Then when we went bowling tonight, we were given unlimited bowls – not quite games… because we couldn’t score after our 10 anymore. But we could just keep bowling to the pins. It was rather cool.
The night sky is pretty spectacular tonight. The moon is still full and the sky is pitch black. Normally, the sky has a dark grey or midnight blue hue to it… but tonight it is pitch black with these streaky grey clouds and the full moon.
If we didn’t know any better, we would pick ourselves to be in a Halloween Horror Werewolf type of movie.
But at the same time, what we see has such a magnetic feel to it – we are drawn to look at it and be in awe. Nights like this, we wish we had one of those kick-arse cameras that has super zoom so we can capture the beauty of the night.
Summary of February 5
We decided to go bowling tonight. We haven’t been bowling just the two of us…. ever! We have gone in groups but in the entire time we have been together, we have not been 10-pin bowling alone. It was fun. Although we weren’t very good at it, it was just lovely to go out and have a bit of fun on a weeknight 🙂
The full moon has this whole stigma around it of being spooky and when the “nutters” come out. But to really stop and see the sky in literally a different light, we can’t help but be drawn into it as well.
Things may not be as they appear – we need to shake our initial impressions or our original beliefs and see what is in fact really beautiful.
