Day 21 of Project 2015

Staying cool as a cucumber may not be possible in this heat but when it comes to our reactions and attitudes to things that are not going our way, we are nailing it!

Yes, we sound like we are giving ourselves a pat on the back but it has officially been 21 days of doing this and we noticeably feel the difference.

Don’t they say it takes 21 days to form a habit?

And seriously, the less that we worry, there seems to be less happening for us to worry about.

We checked the weather last night hoping that we could go for a walk this morning. It predicted thunder in the morning, oh well, so we went to bed.  When we woke up, it was blue skies… so we went for our walk 🙂

We had issues with David’s SIM in his mobile today and we ignored it for most of the day, then when we came home tonight and fiddled with the phone, it got working again.

We spent the afternoon with our 3 little nieces, lots of playing and giggling and the hours just got away.

Hanging out with kids probably helps with the negatives as well. In the eyes of children, everything is stress free…. life’s good!

Summary of January 21

Rearranging the house yet again. Only subtly but in our quest to declutter, we managed to clear unneeded storage unit in our study!

Brighter/Different Perspective?

We had issues with one of our SIM cards. David had no service for majority of today… the service provider blamed their server and we went about our day without so much as a bother. It was a good thing we weren’t expecting an important phone call.
